"I wanted desperately to be an Olympic athlete," Clinton said Monday at a Purchase College symposium on Title IX, the 1972 law outlawing sex discrimination in educational programs that receive federal funding.Since it was a symposium on Title IX of course she has to say that she wanted to be an elite female athlete.
I hope that the Democrats don't run her for President. I want a real race. I could never vote for a woman so nakedly ambitious. It's also impossible for me to respect a woman who would stay married to a man like her husband.
Then again, does the Democratic party have a real capitalist with enough base support to get their nomination? I doubt it. Any chance of a real race is doomed in 2008.

She also wanted, according to her comments that day, to be an Astronaut but was rejected she said because they "don't take girls". Which will be a big surprise to Sally Ride, who was quite a girl.
Hillary at one time claimed she wanted to enlist in the Marines and tried to at a recruiting station at the NWA Mall.
She has quite the fantasy life. Just like ol Bill.
